Happy Valentine's Day

Not that I really celebrate it, but it is a good time to remember loved ones. So a little chocolae gets exchanged and all is good.

Even better is that I finally finished the kimono for S. Which is really good because the day of wearing is tomorrow; after which there should be pictures here to show.
For most of the past two days I've been doing hand sewing which oddly enough I like. Mostly because I do it while watching TV or movies. In the past two days I've watched; Casino Royale, Harry Potter the Goblet of Fire and most of Order of the Phoenix and one I had never heard of before called The Librarian, and the Curse of the Judas Chalice. All of which I borrowed from friends or the library. So there is two of my favorite things at the same time; hand sewing and free! LOL

On Friday though we did the real movie thing and went to the opening night of Percy Jackson and the Olympians: the Lightening Thief. It was a good movie from a movie perspective but a little disappointing from the book perspective. After HP and the Twilight books I know that movies are capable of following the books nice and closely and this movie didn't. At least not as much as I wanted it to.
Not to say I didn't enjoy it, because I did. But with that little bit of wistfulness for the book that I couldn't dispel. /sigh

More hand sewing tomorrow before the big kimono reveal so it's off to bed to rest my weary fingers.

Ta!
